That’s more important than weight. The 14 with the 10 core will be fine. The 14 with upgraded cpu and gpu will have worse battery life. The 16 is noticeably heavier than the 14 but that big screen is great for coding.
Being the 16" bigger, the sound system will have better quality, but that doesn't mean that the 14's are bad, on the contrary. And again, being bigger allows it to move more air inside and run cooler. That, with te bigger screen, would be the only differences For me, it wasn't enough I bought the 14" with the top M2 pro, 1 TB and 16 ram.
